Good and Spicy Meatballs

Delicious spicy meatballs in a sweet and sour sauce.

Ingredients Meatballs:

  • 1/2 cup Corn Flake crumbs 
  • 1 lb ground bison 
  • 1 tbsp ketchup 
  • 2/3 cup nonfat dry milk 
  • 1 tsp salt and a pinch of pepper 
  • 1 egg 
  • 1/4 cup grated onion 
  • 1/4 cup of water 

Sauce: 

  • 2 tbsp green relish 
  • 1/4 cup ketchup 
  • 1-7 ounce tomato sauce 
  • 2 tbsp chopped onion 
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar 
  • 1 tbsp worcestershire sauce 
  • 1/4 cup water 
  • 1 tbsp vinegar 
  • pinch of pepper 

Method: 

  1. Mix meatballs. 
  2. Shape into 1" balls. 
  3. Place in single layer in foil lined baking dish. 
  4. Bake at 400' F for about 12 minutes or till brown. 
  5. Meanwhile combine remaining ingredients in a 3 quart sauce pan. 
  6. Simmer over moderate heat about 15 minutes, stirring frequently. 
  7. Add meatballs and keep hot to serve.
