Important Notice:
The mandatory Levy for Bison sold or slaughtered in Alberta was DISCONTINUED as of June 30, 2012. In light of reduced revenue from discontinuing this check-off levy, it was voted by the membership at the 2012 Annual General Meeting to increase the BPA Membership Fee by $50.00.
Join the Bison Producers of Alberta
The Bison Producers of Alberta (BPA) represents the Bison industry for the province and works together with the Canadian Bison Association (CBA) on bison research, producer profitability, On Farm Food Safety, processing concerns and trade issues.
The activities of the BPA and the CBA are supported financially by its membership. Non-member bison producers are encouraged to join and support the Canadian and the Alberta Associations’ initiatives and activities.
IT IS IMPORTANT TO RECOGNIZE THAT A COMMON VOICE IS EFFECTIVE WHEN WORKING WITH GOVERNMENT TO DEVELOP POLICIES FOR THE BISON INDUSTRY.
THERE IS STRENGTH IN NUMBERS, PLEASE JOIN TODAY.
Membership fees for 2013 : $225.00+ $11.25 GST = $236.25
