Cheesy Bison Nuggets

Nuggets at their best!


  • 2 Ibs. Ground Bison
  • 1/4 Cup finely chopped Onion
  • 1/2 tsp. Pepper
  • 1 Ib. Tator Tots
  • 2 tsp. Parsley Flakes
  • 2 tsp. Salt
  • 3/4 Cup Cheese Whiz


  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the first 6 ingredients and mix well. 
  3. Use 1 heaping tablespoon of meat mixture and form it around a Tator Tot. 
  4. Put balls in an ungreased baking dish. Bake for 20-25 minutes. 
  5. Remove from dish and serve. 
  6. Garnish with fresh parsley sprigs and tomato wedges. 
  7. Yields approximately 30 balls. Can be used as an appetizer. Use half a Tator Tot and half the amount of meat mixture.
