Bisonaf
Quick and easy to prepare.
Ingredients
- 1 ½ lbs (675 g) ground bison
- 1 egg lightly beaten
- 1 cup (250 ml) milk
- 3/4 cup (185 ml) bread crumbs
- 1 medium chopped onion
- 1 tbsp (15 ml) chopped green pepper
- 1 tbsp (15 ml) ketchup
- 1/2 tsp (2 ml) pepper
- 1 tsp (5 ml) prepared horseradish
- 1 tsp (5 ml) sugar
- 1 tsp (5 ml) ground allspice
- 1 tsp (5 ml) dill weed
Method
- In a bowl, combine above ingredients.
- Press into a greased loaf pan and bake at 350 for 1 hour.
- Drizzle top of loaf with 1/4 cup ketchup mixed with 2-3 tbsp (30 - 45 ml) of water to thin.
- Bake an additional 15 minutes more or until no pink remains in meat. Feeds 4 to 6 hungry people.
