Good and Spicy Meatballs
Delicious spicy meatballs in a sweet and sour sauce.
Ingredients Meatballs:
- 1/2 cup Corn Flake crumbs
- 1 lb ground bison
- 1 tbsp ketchup
- 2/3 cup nonfat dry milk
- 1 tsp salt and a pinch of pepper
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup grated onion
- 1/4 cup of water
Sauce:
- 2 tbsp green relish
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1-7 ounce tomato sauce
- 2 tbsp chopped onion
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 tbsp vinegar
- pinch of pepper
Method:
- Mix meatballs.
- Shape into 1" balls.
- Place in single layer in foil lined baking dish.
- Bake at 400' F for about 12 minutes or till brown.
- Meanwhile combine remaining ingredients in a 3 quart sauce pan.
- Simmer over moderate heat about 15 minutes, stirring frequently.
- Add meatballs and keep hot to serve.
