The BPA is gathering information from financial institutions that provide assistance to the agricultural community such as the bison industry. This initiative will result in the promotion of all current financial assistance programs (loans/grants) appropriate for investment in bison production. This information will assist bison producers (existing and prospective) in identifying and accessing relevant financial assistance programs.

Advance Payment Program for Bison Producers

Since inception, the Canadian Bison Association Advance Payments Program has extended over 250 loans for almost $27.0 million. A majority of the funds extended were interest free. To obtain an advance under the program go to www.manitobalivestock.com or call 1-866-869-4008.
