2020 WILDROSE CONVENTION / BISON SHOW & SALE

 VIEWING of the WILDROSE BISON on THURSDAY will be AFTER Judging (approx 4 pm) until 7:30 pm

AND on FRIDAY from 9:00 am until VIDEO AUCTION SALE at 12 Noon

Thursday, March 12^th 

    8:30  AM                 -   Doors Open at Camrose Regional Exhibition : Have a Coffee, Visit Trade & Artisan Booths           

   9:00 -  9:15  AM     -   Welcome, BPA Update :  Chair, Steven Lunty

   9:15 -  9:45  AM     -   CBA Update:  Terry Kremeniuk, CBA Executive Director

   9:45 - 11:45 AM     -   Dr. Jill Clapperton,  Scientist & Founder of Rhizoterra, Soil Health Research Institute, Spokane, WA

                                           -  “ Healthy Soil / Healthy Pastures ”

  11:45 -  1:00 PM                LUNCH  :  Visit Trade and Artisan Booths

    1:00 -  1:30 PM      -   Dr. Annette Suomine :  “Nutrition for Bison”

   4:00  PM                 -   Convention Day Ends – TIME TO VIEW THE BISON, PENNED INDOORS

   5:00  PM                -   CASH BAR OPENS  (Silent Auction Bidding Begins)

   6:00  PM                -   MYRT LENTON Award Presentation – followed by a delicious BISON BANQUET

   8:00  PM……         -   Live and Silent Fun Auction, Socializing  J

 

Friday, March 13^th

    8:30  AM       -  Doors Open at Camrose Regional Exhibition : Have a Coffee, VIEW the WILDROSE  BISON  

   9:30 - 10:15 AM     -   Ryan Voice, Meyers Norris Penny–“Profitability, Benchmarks, CCA Tax Changes, & more”

 10:15 - 11:00 AM     -   Producer s Panel (topic to be advised)

 11:00 - 11:30 AM     -  BPA ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING at Camrose Regional Exhibition Convention Room           

 11:30 - 11:45 AM     -  Judges Comments

 12 NOON                  -  AWARDS PRESENTATIONS / VIDEO SALE of Wildrose Bison –in CRE Convention Room

Followed by :    Draw of the Winning Raffle Ticket for the 2019 Irish Spring Bison Heifer Calf 

 THEN : ** NEW for 2020 - VJV will AUCTION OFF the NEW BISON PANELS  brought in to PEN the Adult WILDROSE BISON !
